El 22 de octubre, serán 75 asambleistas los que votarán para saber si las elecciones para presidente de la AFA se realizan el 1° de marzo o si, en caso de no haber acuerdo, se adelantan para el 26 de diciembre.

Los posibles caminos son los siguientes. En caso de que no haya acuerdo, Rodolfo D’Onofrio, presidente de River, y vice 1° de AFA, será presidente de manera interina ante la caducidad del mando de Luis Segura el 26 de octubre. De la otra forma, y para extender el mandato de Segura, 60 asambleistas deberán votar a favor de esto.
